N.Kama 'The Snapper #2.' New York, 2007

Series to this. I would like to thank everyone who took out time to visit and comment on my work. THANK YOU!!!

A good friend of mine wondered why I didn't put this portrait up, and after stiring at it for a while, ...I decided to process it ....and I like the result. Whatcha think?

Have a fab weekend ;)

I suggest you turn of the fade in function. I am still waiting for the picture to show up as I type this. Now it is finally here and a good shot too.
It has a lot of atmosphere.
You cannot say that it is a traditional portrait.
I love it!

Excellent shot and thank you friend for pointing out the possibilities to ChaCha.

It is so 'city life' with the bus moving in the background.

Left me feeling I know him.

I think I met his twin in a dodgy bar in Edinburgh.

Great pic and great capture of personality

Oh yes, I really love it. His fingers, the rubberband, wondering what he's focusing on. Everything in the frame really works for me.

I think your friend was absolutely right! It's really a fine portrait. I like the way the light acts on the right side of the face, and the processing worked just well. Have a nice Weekend too!

Beautiful black and white tones through the whole range. Love the detail as well. Not a big fan of the central composition though.
I think the vignetting helps a lot, reduces some of the intensity of the white on the bus, good PP job smile
excellent portrait ! good B/W.
Love the textures in this.
Great detail - I love the guy's arm
