N.Kama 'Busted & Neglected #3'. New York, 2007

What do you think happened here?...Series to this

UPDATE: On my way back, I saw the box in a different place not too far from where I saw it on my way out. Someone took if off the road and put it in this trashy corner. We can never know what was in it, cos the photographer - Nacha ... did not open it to find out....CREEPY!

I should walk by this area again to see if this time I might find it opened...so we might get to find out, what's it....But I bet it wont be there again since someone put it near the Trash!

Quite sequence. I guess it was retrieved by the owner at some point????
Nacha Kama: Nope! someone took it off the street and dumped it close to the trash

its like someone just gave up on the idea of travelling !
Nacha Kama: ...LoL!
I don't know why, but I seem to find this a pretty sad sight.
Good photo, love the combination of the suitcase, the fall leaves and the garbage.
Nacha Kama: FALL quite alright

Irrate wife chucked the suitcase at the husband's head. The husband ducked smile

a stockbroker finally realises his life is meaningless ...and in order to break the stranglehold had to turf the object thats ties him down...new beginnings for him. His glass is now half full

Nacha Kama: LoL...Thanks Tracy!
Nice work! Good B&W!
Nacha Kama: Gracias Paulo
Great picture - love the simplicity of the composition and that one little fallen leaf on the suitcase. I like the fact that this is part of some unknown narrative - we shall never know how or why this came to be here!
Ingrid
Nacha Kama: Exactly, and also we never get to know whats in the suitcase itself as the photographer didn't care to open it.
Thanks alot!

Glad to hear it is the same suitcase in a different place! At first glance I was afraid you had happened on a bus crash. This is good, but I like the previous one better. That one felt like it had a story behind it; this one is just a study of shapes and shades.
Nacha Kama: Exactly Harry, I appericate the fact that you studied and paid close attention to the both image smile

I;m reminded of The Luggage from Terry Pratchett's books. Perhaps the case was waiting for its food to come along.

It just shows you can make a good picture out of the most unpromising material. Most of us would have walked past it. Including me.
Nacha Kama: Thanks alot alex

Interesting what you can make out of a mundane found object in the street and a bit of trash. Great work!
