Meet Ali

So Honest! we became friends sometime last year when I forgot something really important at his News Stand. The next time I showed up to purchase some of those colorful sweet things you see right here, he gave it back to me untouched. I was so happy cos I was running crazy looking for my stuff, the worst place to imagine forgetting something is on the train and that was were i though i left it, pheeeew!!! As you can see he's an interesting character, anytime am around the village, I defintely try to pay him a visit!

THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR COMMENTS!!!! LOTS OF LUV!!!!

Priceless expression! Nacha, you should give him the web address of this post so he can read the comments. Well captures, my friend!

He does look interesting! I once left my mobile phone on the train and realized just as I stepped out of it. If I'd gone back in to get it, the doors would have closed (and the train would have taken me to the next station) and I'd miss a meeting I was already late for.
Took a tough decision and left the phone :p I do know what you mean about leaving things in the train.
This whole shot has a surplus of personality. I like how he's surrounded by the goods for sale, and he is obviously a fun character.
That is a great shot. I think you captured the honesty in his face. And you got it in a unusually colour place with great light. You live in a terrific city for street portraits.

Great composition!
This has tremendous impact straight away on first viewing. The interest continues on closer examination. Excellent image, then... although you'll know by now that I'm the one who always seems to want a little more highlight detail when it's a bit bright! That's what I would go for personally here for the t-shirt, by underexposing perhaps 2/3 of a stop, and then bringing out the shadows in postprocessing. I don't mean to imply that the photo has a defect. Just voicing my personal preference in this case. This is still a standout image, and one that deserves to be published and seen widely.
